| Workshop Background: The Maryland Department of Transportation has been working with the City of Baltimore and community members of the West Baltimore Coalition (WBC) to organize a community workshop focused on creating Transit Centered Community Development near the West Baltimore MARC Station. The process began with a workshops held in October 2006 and October 2007. The final workshop will be held on November 30, 2007, from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM in the Gymnasium at Lockerman Bundy Elementary School. We are inviting all interested parties to attend the workshop, which will involve community members, area non-profits and City and State agencies work together to produce a new vision for strengthening the West Baltimore Station area. Our focus topics are: Transportation, Housing and Economic Development. | Friday November 30, 2007
