MARYLAND'S

2007-2012 CONSOLIDATED TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM

This document is Maryland's Consolidated Transportation Program (CTP), the State's six-year capital budget for transportation projects.  The Capital Program includes projects for the Maryland Department of Transportation and the modal agencies and related authorities within the Department, including the Maryland Aviation Administration, the Motor Vehicle Administration, the Maryland Transit Administration, the Maryland State Highway Administration, the Maryland Port Administration, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, and the Maryland Transportation Authority.  An expanded description is shown for each major project, along with a list of minor capital projects.

Working together with Maryland's citizens, local jurisdictions and local delegations, projects are added to the CTP which enhance transportation service and opportunities throughout the State.  In order to help Maryland's citizens review this document, a summary of the Department's financing and budget process and instructions on how to read each Project Information Form (PIF) is included.
