For Immediate Release:  August 24, 2007

RAVENS FANS SCORE WITH MTA LIGHT RAIL LINE-UP!

10,200 Boardings at Hamburg Street Station for last preseason home game

(BALTIMORE, MD) - The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) recorded  10,200 Ravens football fans traveled on Light Rail to last Sunday's preseason game against the New York Giants, taking advantage of this affordable and convenient travel option into and out of downtown for the game.

To further increase the convenience of using Light Rail for Ravens games, the MTA has teamed up with BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport to provide Ravens fans free parking at an existing BWI parking lot adjacent to the BWI Business District Light Rail stop, located just off of Aviation Boulevard and Elkridge Landing Road. This BWI lot will be available three hours prior to game times and three hours after the game ends. Free home game parking is also available at many other Light Rail stops.
