If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact us at mbe@mdot.state.md.us - Is your firm at least 51% owned by a socially and economically disadvantaged individual(s) who also controls the firm?
- Is the disadvantaged owner a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident of the U.S.?
- Is your firm a small business that does not exceed either the Small Business Administration’s (SBA’s) size standard or $19.57 million in gross annual receipts?
- Is your personal net worth less than $750,000.00? (if your personal net worth exceeds $750,000 but is less than $1,500,000 your firm may apply only for MBE certification) www.e-mdot.com/MBE_Program/MBE%20Certification%20Applications
